Dangote Group Trailer Involved in Fatal Incident That Killed Family Members in Enugu

A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday at Four Corner Junction in Enugu State, where a trailer reportedly belonging to the Dangote Group crushed an entire family traveling in a private vehicle.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that none of the occupants survived the crash. A video currently circulating on social media shows the car completely flattened beneath the heavy-duty truck, underscoring the severity of the incident.

This heartbreaking development comes just days after Ruth, the sister of former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, died from injuries sustained in another accident involving a Dangote truck. According to the company, arrangements were being made to fly Ruth abroad for advanced treatment before her condition worsened and she passed away.

The series of incidents has sparked public outrage, with social media activist VeryDarkMan intensifying his campaign against what he describes as the “reckless behavior” of Dangote truck drivers across Nigerian highways. He also alleged that the driver involved in Ruth’s accident did not possess a valid driver’s license.

As of the time of this report, neither the Enugu State Police Command nor the Dangote Group has released an official statement regarding the latest fatal crash.
