Kano Looting: Shehu Sani Calls Incident “Unfortunate”

Former lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani has labeled the looting of government properties in Kano State by protesters as “unfortunate.”

According to NIGERIA NEWS 247, protesters involved in the nationwide demonstrations have destroyed and looted a building in Kano.

Reacting on X, Sani called for enhanced protection of lives and property, stating, “The images and clips of the looting in Kano are unfortunate and condemnable. All efforts must be put in place to secure people’s lives and properties.”

The nationwide hunger protests, known as #EndBadGovernance, began on August 1 and are scheduled to continue until August 10.
