Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has downplayed concerns over an injury he picked up during Portugal’s dramatic Nations League win against Scotland, calling it “just a little bump.”

Portugal came from behind to win 2-1 on Sunday, with Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo scoring after Scott McTominay’s early header.

Fernandes appeared to be troubled by an ankle issue during the match but stayed on the pitch until the final whistle.

When asked about his ankle after the game, Fernandes reassured, “It’s okay. It’s just a little bump.”
