Nigeria secured their place in the final qualifying round of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with a dominant 6-0 victory over Burkina Faso on Saturday night, advancing with a 7-1 aggregate score.

Harmony Chidi was the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick for the Flamingos. Peace Effiong contributed with a brace, while Ramota Kareem added another goal.

In the final round, the Flamingos will face either Senegal or Liberia.

Three teams from Africa will compete in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic, scheduled to run from October 16 to November 3, 2024.
