The Continuing Grip of Political Power by the North and Southwest in Nigeria – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a sociopolitical analyst, contends that political power will remain under the influence of both the North and South in Nigeria.

He emphasizes that these regions’ unity and humility are key factors in their continued dominance.

Omokri asserts on X platform that until other regions emulate the humility and unity displayed by the North and Western parts of Nigeria, the control of political power will persistently oscillate between these regions.

He explains, “Unity and humility are essential in maintaining political power in a diverse nation like ours.

Without one or the other, political instability or feelings of superiority can arise, hindering effective governance.” Omokri concludes that unless there’s a shift in mindset towards unity and humility among all regions, the political landscape will remain in a state of perpetual flux.
