Singer Kcee Shares Secret to Longevity and Success in Music Industry

Nigerian singer Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has revealed the key to his consistency and success in the music industry.

Speaking on the Selah Meditate podcast, the Limpopo crooner explained that unlike some colleagues who get discouraged when a song fails, he responds by releasing more music, increasing the chance of producing a hit.

“Some of my colleagues drop a song, and if it doesn’t do well, they go back into their shell and feel sad. But that can’t be me. I can drop 22 songs, maybe the 25th one becomes a hit. I don’t care because consistency is key,” Kcee said.

The singer also reflected on the challenges he has faced in the industry, noting that the public rarely sees the struggles because he always presents himself confidently.

Kcee further shared how positive manifestation has influenced his journey. “When me and E-Money were living in Ajegunle, if you asked us where we are living, we would say Ikeja. And we were not lying or pretending; we were dreaming, prophesying into the future. And that was where we eventually moved to. And we dominated it,” he said.
