#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria: Police barricade Abuja stadium with vehicles

Following the dispersal of demonstrators, security personnel have sealed off the entrance to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

According to earlier reports from NIGERIA NEWS 247, security forces intervened against protesters who were gathered outside the stadium.

Shortly after this intervention, as protesters and reporters attempted to regroup, security operatives fired gunshots to scatter them from the area.

A correspondent present at the scene noted that officers targeted both protesters and journalists seeking shelter. Consequently, police deployed armored and patrol vehicles to block access to the stadium, preventing any further gatherings of demonstrators.

The protesters had clashed with police over their attempt to enter the stadium, prompting officers to use tear gas in a bid to disperse them.
