Idris made the statement at the All Nigeria Editors’ Conference, emphasizing that no media organisation has been gagged or shut down under Tinubu’s administration.

He noted that the President’s dedication to press freedom has earned global recognition, with Nigeria recently granted the hosting rights for the International Media and Information Literacy Institute.

According to Idris, the event will connect Nigeria to media-literate networks worldwide, providing an opportunity for the ministry to showcase the nation’s progress on the international stage.
