PDP Win in Aug 16 By-Election Will Confirm Party’s Dominance – Oyo Gov, Makinde

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate will win the August 16 by-election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, further cementing the party’s dominance in the state.

Makinde made the remarks at Bodija Market in Ibadan during the official launch of the PDP campaign and the presentation of the party’s flag to its candidate, Mr. Folajimi Oyekunle. He described Oyekunle as a trusted and capable candidate best suited to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives.

The governor also thanked the people of Oyo State for their continued support since the beginning of his administration.

He called on all eligible voters in Ibadan North Federal Constituency to come out in large numbers to vote on August 16.

Earlier, the campaign Director-General for Folajimi Oyekunle, Mr. Ademola Omotosho, urged the electorate to support the PDP candidate during the upcoming election.
