“Guardiola Names Six Teams Ready to Win EPL, Champions League – Shocking List”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said as many as six Premier League clubs are now competing to win the EPL, Champions League and other major trophies this season.
City were active in the January transfer window, signing Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi, taking their spending to over £450 million in the last year. However, Guardiola insisted City are no longer the biggest spenders.
Speaking on Tuesday, the Spaniard revealed that six Premier League clubs have recorded a higher net spend than Manchester City over the last five years.
“I’m a little bit sad and upset because in terms of net spend over the last five years, we are seventh in the Premier League. I want to be first,” Guardiola said.
He added that the clubs who have spent more in recent years now have a responsibility to win major trophies, stressing that his comments were based on facts, not opinion.
