Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has shared his predictions for the clubs he believes will qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Premier League is expected to receive five qualification spots again, following strong performances by English teams in European competitions this season.
Arsenal and Manchester City appear to have secured two of those places as they continue their title race.
That leaves three remaining spots, with just six points separating Manchester United in third and Chelsea in sixth.
Speaking on his podcast, Neville said:
“I think United will definitely finish third, Liverpool will finish fourth and Chelsea will finish fifth.
“In my view, it will be either Chelsea or Villa. United, Liverpool, Chelsea, or Villa.”
His comments suggest he expects Liverpool and either Chelsea or Aston Villa to complete the top five alongside Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United.
