Mohamed Salah has confirmed that he will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the 2025/26 season, bringing an end to his long and highly successful spell at Anfield.
The announcement was shared via Salah’s official social media account, with the club also acknowledging the news on their platforms and preparing to honour his legacy later in the year.
Liverpool stated that a full celebration of Salah’s achievements will take place when he officially bids farewell to the club, highlighting the significant impact he has made since joining.
Salah arrived at Liverpool on June 22, 2017, from AS Roma for a reported fee of around €52 million. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in one of the most successful eras in the club’s history, winning two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Community Shield.
Individually, Salah has been one of Liverpool’s most prolific players, scoring 255 goals in 435 appearances for the club.
