Barcelona Plot Shock Move for Osimhen as Plan B for Alvarez

FC Barcelona are weighing up a move for Victor Osimhen as a possible alternative to Julian Alvarez, according to reports.
Alvarez remains the Blaugrana’s top target as they look to find a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski ahead of the summer transfer window. However, Atletico Madrid are unlikely to approve a sale, especially with Antoine Griezmann expected to leave soon.
As a result, Osimhen has emerged as a strong option on Barcelona’s radar, as reported by Barcelona Universal. The Nigerian striker is widely regarded as one of the most prolific forwards in world football.
The 27-year-old has netted 56 goals in 70 appearances since joining Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, it would take a significant transfer fee to convince Fenerbahce to part ways with the striker, who was previously signed for €75 million from Napoli.
