A wave of anger has taken over the offices of Barcelona following confirmation of a serious injury to Raphinha while on international duty with Brazil.
Head coach Hansi Flick and the club’s leadership are openly frustrated, blaming Brazil’s coaching staff for what they see as reckless handling of the player. Reports indicate that Barcelona views the situation as highly irresponsible, especially given the timing late in the season.
From the club’s perspective, there is little justification for putting a key player through intense travel and heavy match demands at such a crucial stage of the campaign. Their frustration has been compounded by the belief that Brazil’s medical team failed to properly account for Raphinha’s recent injury record.
The winger had already missed several games this season due to muscle problems and was expected to be managed carefully. Instead, he was included in the lineup for a match against France in Boston, where he sustained the injury.
Despite these setbacks, Raphinha has been a standout performer for Barcelona this season, registering 19 goals and 8 assists in 31 appearances.
