According to reports from The Athletic, Noni Madueke was seen leaving Wembley through the mixed zone struggling to walk. The Chelsea winger had a protective brace on his left leg, raising fears that the injury could be serious.

Madueke was forced off during the first half after a heavy collision with Uruguay forward Rodrigo Aguirre. Although the challenge didn’t draw as much attention as Ronald Araújo’s earlier foul on Phil Foden, it had significant consequences for the Chelsea winger, who was unable to continue.

His availability for upcoming Premier League matches is now in doubt, with further medical examinations expected soon to determine the extent of the injury.
