Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has given winger Noni Madueke the green light to leave the club this summer if he is not fully committed to staying.

Madueke, 23, joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 and is under contract until 2030. However, with the imminent arrival of Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, the former PSV winger’s future at Stamford Bridge has come under fresh scrutiny.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in securing Madueke’s services and are said to have opened new rounds of transfer talks. Chelsea have placed a £50 million valuation on the England international.

Speaking to reporters, Maresca acknowledged Madueke’s contributions but made it clear that only fully committed players will remain at the club.

“Noni has been very important for us during this season. Today, again, he has been important,” Maresca said.
“But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us. The ones that are not happy, they are free to go.”

Madueke’s potential departure could be one of several moves as Chelsea reshape their squad under Maresca ahead of the new season.
